2. Contacting us

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or via the contact form, we process the data you provide (e.g. first name, last name, email address, phone number and your message) solely to answer your enquiry and to carry out any resulting order. The contact form opens your email program; the message is sent by email. If you message us on WhatsApp, your message and phone number are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited); WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies.

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically stores technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page visited, browser type and operating system. This data is used to operate the website securely and reliably and is not combined with other data. This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. Server log data and consent logs may therefore also be processed in the United States.

4. Cookies and consent

This website sets one technically necessary cookie (“belack_consent”) that stores your cookie choice for 12 months. To document your consent, we log your choice with the time, a random ID, the page visited, the browser type and a shortened IP address; these logs are deleted after 13 months. Statistics cookies are only used with your consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

The “DM Sans” font is loaded directly from our server; no data is transferred to third parties.

5. Google Maps

Our website embeds a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA) to help you find us. When you open a page with the map, your IP address and technical information about your browser, among other data, are transferred to Google, including to the USA, and Google may set cookies. We have no influence over this processing.

The “Get directions” buttons take you directly to Google Maps. Google’s privacy policy applies.

6. Disclosure of data

We do not pass your personal data on to third parties unless this is necessary to carry out an order (e.g. as part of claims management with your insurer and with your consent) or we are legally obliged to do so.

7. Retention

We only keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated or as required by statutory retention obligations.

8. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Please contact info@belack.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
